Human Rights and Protests

A conversation on Human Rights and Protests between Attorney-at-law Jason Nathu, and Institute for Small Islands Fellow Alatashe Girvan in the context of the recent protests in Trinidad and Tobago .


Jason Nathu is an Attorney-at-Law, with over thirteen years post-qualification experience in Trinidad and Tobago. He is a Tutor attached to the Hugh Wooding Law School (HWLS), in the general Legal Aid Clinic, and the supervising tutor of the law school’s  Human Rights Law Clinic and Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship Clinic.


He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of the West Indies, a Bachelor of Laws from the University of the West Indies, a Legal Education Certificate from the Council of Legal Education and a Master of Laws in Intellectual Property Law from the University of London..
